MEET THE BAND
The Undercovers are a 3 piece cover band from the Black Country. If you were wondering where the name comes from, it's our 'Undercover' name as the 3 of us form the original band HEADWIRED, you see what we did there, clever.
Our love of all things Rock 'N' Roll have centred us around the very best of 90's, Indie and Classic rock which we play night after night, and yet it seems to get better and better the more we play.

JACK REDFERN
Lead Guitar and Vocals
Jack is where it all began. I'd always wanted to be in a band, but really didn't know that would ever be possible when all of your current mates think playing music is hitting the 'DJ' button on the keyboard. Somehow he always seems to play the right notes when we jam, and even when we improvise on stage yet it still continues to leave me speechless. His talent on the fretboard is something I admire and would easily compete against any of the top guitarists today, plus he helps tell me what notes im pressing down which is always a bonus.
JOE ROBERTS
DRUMS / PERCUSSION
Drummers usually get a bad rap for being the least talented, but clearly they haven't heard Joe yet. He is the definition of a when you see a youngster in the premier league smashing back a goal per game, the only difference being that Joe guarantees a perfect delivery night after night without fail. I love the passion and commitment to this guys involvement, and his on stage energy is enough to get anyone up dancing and singing at the top of their lungs.

Bass Guitar and Vocals
That leaves myself, hi! I made a conscious decious to pick up the Bass guitar to allow our 3 piece band to perform with a proper full range of sound on stage. If you think playing the bass in a rock band is boring, you need a serious lesson in music. For me, I didn't realise how important this instrument was until i started playing with the lads, and then blew my own mind when I started writing songs that were born from bass lines, and now I can't put it down. I also sparked a new level of confidence with these lads, and now i feel like with these two next to me on stage i can sing until security have to physically remove us.
